Obituaries

Lucille B. Hubbard, age 75, of King Wilkinson Road in Denver, died on Tuesday, January 28, 2014.

Her funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Friday, January 31, 2014, at New Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Warlick Funeral Home.

Lucille was born April 13, 1938, in Buffalo, SC to the late Robert and Hazel Brooks Babb. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Wade Hubbard, Sr., a sister, Vivian Johnson, and a brother Torrence Babb. She worked in furniture manufacturing and was also a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Doug Hubbard and wife Sherri, Phil Hubbard and wife Lisa, Kimberly Hubbard Pressley, and Wade Hubbard, Jr. and wife Christal; sisters, Barbara Lawson, and Laura Lee Childers; brothers, Ted Babb and C.L. Babb; nine grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
