Bobby Aaron Preston age 59, of 899 South Ingleside Farm Road in Iron Station, NC died Sunday, January 5, 2013 at his home.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 7:00pm Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Rev, Charles Ingle and Bonnie Knight will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Wednesday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Preston was born April 15, 1954 in Forsyth County. He was the beloved son of the late John Columbus Preston and Bernice Eldredge Knight Preston. Bobby was a welder at Duke Power.

He was greatly loved by two sons, Phillip Preston of Iron Station, NC and John Preston of Shelby, NC;  prized grandfather of Caleb Will Preston, Brayden Preston, Trevor Preston and Kadence Preston; also survived by two brothers, Dwight Preston and Kenneth Preston both of Iron Station, NC; two sisters, Janice P. Correll of Iron Station, NC and Judy P. Melton of Bostic, NC;
