Mr. Robert “Toad” Wayne Patterson, age 64, of 918 Park Circle, Lincolnton died Tuesday, December 24, 2013.

His funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Pendleton officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. Saturday prior to the funeral at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Patterson was born on December 22, 1949 in Gaston County to the late Glenn and Lurene Hasting Patterson.   He worked in the maintenance department at Gaston College for over 32 years.  Mr. Patterson was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Schronce Patterson of the home; his children, Scotty Patterson and wife Mary of Marion, NC, Brian Patterson and wife Julie of Kings Mountain, NC and Jimmy Patterson of Lincolnton, Wendy Patterson Morrison and husband Brandon of Alexis, NC, David Patterson and wife Alie of Shelby, NC; two brothers, Steve Patterson of Lansing, NC, Jim Patterson of Bessemer City, NC; one sister, Ludene P. Stafford of Dallas, NC; 10 grandchildren, Josh, Rylan, Kali, Lily, Cameron, Christian, Logan, Madison, Riley and Caden.
