Robert Eugene Welch, age 54, of 363 Shaw Road in Harmony, died on Saturday, October 5, 2013

Robert was born February 18, 1959 in Macon County, NC to Lucille Miller Punch and the late Robert Lee Welch.  He worked as a planer at G & G Sawmill.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Osborne Welch of the home; three daughters, Tabitha Rene Welch of Statesville, Kimberly Leann Welch of Troutman, and Catherine Nicole Burke of Statesville; one brother, Dover Lee Welch of Virginia; two sisters, Donna Welch Easley of Denver and Debbie Welch of Iron Station; and his mother, Lucille Miller Punch of Denver.
