Obituaries

Matthew Wayne Dill, age 24, of 303 Bryant Cooper Lane in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, September 14, 2013.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 19, 2013 in the Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Cape officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Matthew was born April 25, 1989 in Lincoln County to the late Jerry Wayne and Virginia Caswell Dill.  He worked as a grocery clerk.

He is survived by his paternal grandmother, Hazel Dill of the Home; and two uncles, Larry Dill and Bill Land, both of Lincolnton.
