Obituaries

Floris Roma Picard Concato, age 92, of 894 Clear Creek Circle in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, September 12, 2013.

A mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, September 16, 2013 at St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church with Father David Miller officiating.  Burial will be held at a later date in Massachusetts. 

Mrs. Concato was born April 10, 1921 in Adams, Massachusetts to the late Amos and Marion Louise Bordeau Picard. 

She is survived by a son, Richard Concato and wife Nancy of Lincolnton, NC; a daughter, Jacqueline Miers and husband Daniel of Massachusetts; a sister, Irene Zimnicki of Connecticut; and five grandchildren.
