Obituaries

Annie Inez Burnett Rhyne, age 70, of 724 S. Madison Street in Lincolnton, died on Friday, September 6, 2013.

Her funeral service will be 3:30 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Sloop officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pisgah United Methodist Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:15 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Annie was born July 29, 1943 in Laurens, SC to the late Annie Ashley Heavner.  She worked as a sewer for Dallas Pillow Company.

She is survived by her husband, Doyle Rhyne of the home; two sons, Dean Rhyne and Jamie Rhyne, both of Lincolnton; two daughters, Lynn Chapman and Glenna Strange, both of Lincolnton; one brother, Jack Warlick of Lincolnton; two sisters, Margaret Cousins of Raleigh and Lorraine Duncan of Greenwood, SC; nine grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
