Obituaries

William Eric Gribbins, age 43, of 21A Woodmont Circle in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, September 5, 2013.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Long Shoals Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Gibson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 pm prior to the service at the church.  

Eric was born September 30, 1969 in Lincoln County to William Ronald and the late Margaret Olive Robinson Gribbins.  He worked as a mechanic. 

He is survived by his father, William Gribbins and stepmother Isabel of Lincolnton; two brothers, Jason Gribbins and wife Crystal of Concord and Scott Gribbins and wife Angela of Denver; six nieces and nephews.
