Obituaries

Peggy Ann Strohhacker, age 72, of 1111 General Hoke Drive in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, March 12, 2013.

Her funeral service will be 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 3:45 pm prior to the service in the North Wing of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Strohhacker was born June 14, 1940 in Gaston County to the late Ernest William and Lola Metcalf Long. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Jean Strohhacker.  Mrs. Strohhacker was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Dieter Strohhacker of the home; sons Cameron Wayne Homesley and wife Tina of Murrells Inlet, SC and Erich William Strohhacker and wife Jamie of Richmond, VA; one sister, Kay Warren and husband Bill of Lincolnton; and three grandchildren, Dillon Conner Strohhacker, McKensie Leigh Strohhacker, and Reagen Ann Strohhacker.
