Obituaries

Mr. Ralph Wayne Beal, age 77, of 5179 Mountain View Church Road in Maiden, died on Tuesday, February 5, 2013.

His funeral service will be 4:00 pm on Monday, February 11, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Lytle officiating.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 3:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in the VA Cemetery in Salisbury. 

Mr. Beal was born October 24, 1935 in Lincoln County to the late Marvin and Bertha Beal.  He served in the United States Army for over 26 years. 

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Lookadoo Beal of the home; two sons, Tony Beal and wife Karen of Maiden and Timothy Don “TD” Beal and wife Mona of Kentucky; and two granddaughters, Nicole Beal and Amanda Merrick. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Maiden Church of God, 107 N. 3^rd Avenue, Maiden, NC  28650.
