Mary Abernathy Mozeley, age 91, of 110 Ravenwood Circle in Piedmont, SC, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
A graveside service will be held in the Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2582 Gastonia Highway, Lincolnton, NC 28092, at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2013 with Rev. Keith Huss officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
Ms. Mozeley was born November 5, 1921 in Gaston County, NC to the late Hester W. and Pearl Smith Abernathy. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by a son, Thomas E. Mozeley of New Mexico; one daughter, Barbara M. Huss of Piedmont, SC; one brother, Earl Abernathy of Gastonia, NC; two sisters, Nancy Webb of Greenville, NC and Carol Long of Mt. Holly, NC; four grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.
