Obituaries

Mr. Karroll “Buster” Dean Haynes, age 73, of 1067 Point View Lane in Lincolnton, died on Monday, December 31, 2012.

His funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Friday, January 4, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Spencer officiating.   Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery with DAV graveside rites. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 pm on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Haynes was born June 30, 1939 in Lincoln County to the late James Franklin and Ellaree Violet Mahaley Haynes.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Doris Freeman Haynes; brothers, Eddie Haynes and David Haynes; and sister Sally Haynes Lane.  He worked as a mechanic. 

He is survived by a daughter, Angel Martin of Lincolnton; two brothers, Jimmy Haynes and Pete Haynes, both of Lincolnton; one sister, Barbara H. Ward of Lincolnton; and a granddaughter, Ambreal Watson.
