Obituaries

Sarah Loraine Saunders Alshaer, age 58, of 713 E. Sumner Street in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, November 13, 2012.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 19, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Stanley Spence officiating. 

Ms. Alshaer was born June 22, 1954 in Atlanta, GA to the late Darrell and Girtha Bridges Saunders.   She was an activities coordinator. 

She is survived by two sons, Jason Beard and wife Suzanne of Maiden and Daniel Alshaer of Cary; Allison Ann Owens and husband Sam Hamam of Gastonia; two sisters, Sharon Starr and husband Kevin of Crouse and Lee Ann Beach and husband Mac of Arizona; and four grandchildren.
