Charity Emaline Neal Black
( June 16, 1922 - October 21, 2012 )

Charity Emaline Neal Black, age 90, of 5740 Crouse Road in Crouse, died on Sunday, October 21, 2012.

 

Her funeral service will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Goins and Rev. Darrell Bost.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service.  Visitation will be from 6:30 until 8:30 pm on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home.

 

Mrs. Black was born June 16, 1922 in Lincoln County to the late Charles and Lonnie Reynolds Neal. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Marshall Haywood Black and a son, Amos Ezra Black.  She worked in furniture manufacturing.  

 

She is survived by a son, Aaron Marshall Black and wife Betsy of Crouse; one daughter, Lydia Sue Black Saine and husband Wade of Iron Station; one brother, Don Neal of Crouse; four grandchildren, Kerry Black Dix and husband David of Ranlo, Billie Black Duncan and husband Lanny of Maiden, Russel Lee Saine of Cary, NC, and Marsha Anne Saine of Iron Station; and three great-grandchildren, Christopher Duncan of Maiden, Joshua Dix and Luke Dix, all of Ranlo. 

 

Memorials may be made to Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church, 1462 Leonards Fork Church Road, Lincolnton, NC  28092.
