Obituaries

Mr. Harry Lee Robinson, age 86, of 4739 E. Highway 27 in Iron Station, died on Friday, October 19, 2012.

His funeral service will be 11:00 am on Monday, October 22, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shiela Gould and Rev. Carolyn Sears officiating.   Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 am on Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Robinson was born February 17, 1926 in Lincoln County to the late Roscoe and Estelle Keever Robinson.  He served in the United States Navy during World War II having received five battle stars.  Mr. Robinson later retired from Burlington Industries.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Ballard Robinson of the home; one daughter, Kathy Robinson Billings and husband Michael of Denver; four sisters, Jean R. Devine and Dorothy R. Schronce, both of Iron Station, Kathryn Robinson Eurey of Lincolnton, and Fredda Robinson of Denver, NC; and a brother, Johnny Robinson of Stanley.
