Mr. Larry Dean Ward, Jr., age 47 of 1563 Wicket Lane in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, September 27, 2012.
His funeral service will be 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 29, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:15 – 11:45 am on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at their home at 1563 Wicket Lane in Lincolnton.
Mr. Ward was born on December 3, 1964 in Dover, Delaware to the late Larry Ward, Sr. and Dorothy Cann Ward. Mr. Ward owned Ideal Transport of Hickory, NC and was a loving husband and father, as well as to everyone he came into contact with.
He is survived by a wife, Terrye Maxwell Ward of Lincolnton; one daughter, Crystal Ward Taylor and husband Neil of Lenoir; one granddaughter, Peyton Landrie Taylor; and numerous aunts and uncles from the Iron Station area.
