Obituaries

Mr. Daniel Yates Rudisill, age 74, of 712 N. Laurel Street in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, September 19, 2012.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Key officiating.  

Mr. Rudisill was born January 12, 1938 in Lincoln County to the late Emmitt Yates and Bertha Senter Rudisill. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Kay Black Rudisill.  He worked as a contractor.

He is survived by a son, David Rudisill and wife Michelle of Cherryville; one daughter, Dana Rudisill Withers of Lincolnton; one sister, Leslie Saunders of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Megan Rudisill and Kyle Withers; and long-time friends, Herman and John James.
