Obituaries

Mr. Gilmer Woodruff “Buddy” Caudill, Jr., age 73, of 4740 Westwinds Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, August 28, 2012.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Hollybrook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 pm on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home. 

Mr. Caudill was born December 5, 1938 in Statesville, NC to the late Gilmer Woodruff Caudill, Sr. and Serlena Gentry Caudill.  He was a band director for several schools and retired from McGuire Nuclear Plant. 

He is survived by his wife, Judy Beam Caudill of the home; and mother-in-law, Thelma Beam.
