Obituaries

Hyacinth Marie Propst Beam, age 68, of 296 Shady Lane in Lincolnton, died on Friday, August 24, 2012.

Her funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Westside Baptist Church in Maiden with Rev. Bud Painter and Rev. Rita Pritchard officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:45 until 2:45 pm on Sunday prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Beam was born June 3, 1944 in Catawba County to the late Ralph and Mildred Reinhardt Propst.   

She is survived by her husband, Guy E. Beam of the home; one brother, Hal Propst and wife Faye of Maiden; two sisters, Lucille Starr and Vivian Biggs and husband Buster, both of Maiden; and a number of nieces and nephews.
