Eddie M. Lowe, age 71, of 1092 Timberlane Drive, Lincolnton passed away peacefully on Monday, August 13, 2012 after an extended illness.

The visitation for friends and family will be Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton.  The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Judy Nicholson Lowe of the home; son Eddie M. Lowe, Jr. “Skip” and wife, Katie of Arlington, TX; daughters, Pamela Lowe Canipe and husband, Les of Lincolnton, Lisa Lowe Clarke and husband, Greg of Denver, NC; grandchildren, Judith, Leslie and Mary Canipe; Jacob, Sarah and Grace Clarke; Mason, Avery and Taylor Lowe; brother Wayne Lowe and wife Jane; sisters McGretta Garrison, Lanelle Elmore and husband, Paul, Beth Abernethy and many loving nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his supportive AA family and was loved greatly by the entire Nicholson family.
