Obituaries

Linda Kay Kitner Devine, age 67, of Waynesboro, PA, died on Sunday, July 22, 2012.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 am on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ with Rev. James Parker officiating.  The body will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the service.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall.

Mrs. Devine was born June 6, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Harold Wilbur and Mary Alene Holland Kitner.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dean Devine.   She worked as a civil servant for the United States government.

She is survived by two sons, Christopher Devine and Anthony Devine, both of Ireland, one daughter, Dawn D. Brown of Lincolnton; a brother, Jack Kitner of Kansas City, KS; five grandchildren, Aidan and Liam Devine, both of Ireland, Lily and Daniel Brown, both of Lincolnton, and Charles Devine of Ireland.
