Obituaries

Ruby Ethel Draper Peach, age 93, of the Brian Center in Lincolnton, and formerly of Reidsville N.C., died on Sunday, April 29, 2012. 

Her funeral service will be 10:30 am on Thursday, May 3, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Walt Windley officiating.   A graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm in Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Peach was born May 2, 1918 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Robert H. Draper and Mardula Johansson Draper.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Andrew L. Peach, and a grandson, Charlie Hudson, and great-granddaughter, Lauren Raym.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Donald E. Peach and wife Anita of Lincolnton; one daughter, Ann Peach Joyce and husband Charles of West Jefferson, NC; eight grandchildren, Corporal Donald Andrew Peach and wife Andrea, Anna Peach, Tammy Wright and husband Billy, Teresa Moylan and husband Paul, Nick Hudson and wife Lucrezia, Kris Bryan, Kathy Stanley, and Kelly Ramsey; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
