Obituaries

Edith Lee Davis, age 91 of Cardinal Care, and formerly of E. Highway 150 in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, April 11, 2012.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Garren officiating.  Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Davis was born October 14, 1920 in Lincoln County to the late Fred and Maude Houk Noles.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Carmie Davis, one son, Billy Joe Hallman, and two brothers, W.B. Noles and Harold Noles.  She was retired from J.P. Stevens.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Betty Hallman Armstrong and husband Charles “Bo” of Iron Station; four grandchildren, Debbie Day, Michelle Hallman, Tim Hallman, and Michael Hallman; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Beth Noles of Rock Hill, SC.
