Obituaries

Jessie Juanita Farmer Finger, age 85 of 3396 E. Highway 27 in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, February 28, 2012.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, March 2, 2012, at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Anita Sain officiating.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Warlick Funeral Home.  

Mrs. Finger was born February 4, 1927, in Greenville County, SC to the late J.D. and Gladys Brannon Farmer.   She cared for children as her life’s work. 

A dear wife, mother, grandmother and friend who always focused on caring for others and felt blessed every day of her life.  For the joy you always brought us, we thank you.

She is survived by her husband, Reid Finger of the home; two daughters, Sharon Rosenberg and husband Mark of Lincolnton and Lisa Vaughn and husband David of Huntersville; and one grandson, Jacob Vaughn.
