Lyman Foster Beaver
( May 26, 1944 - January 29, 2012 )

Mr. Lyman Foster Beaver, age 67 of 1005 Anderson Lane in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, January 29, 2012. 

 

His funeral service will be 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Tony Fulbright officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with DAV military rites.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Warlick Funeral Home.  

 

Mr. Beaver was born May 26, 1944 in Cleveland County to the late Noah Lee and Altie Campbell Beaver.  He was retired from FMC where he worked in maintenance.  Mr. Beaver also served in the United States Army.

 

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Craig Beaver of the home; two sons, Lyman Foster Lee “Buster” Beaver and wife Ashlye of Gastonia and Michael Shane Craig and wife Beth of Lincolnton; five daughters, Carla Martin of Lincolnton, Cindy Beaver of Cherryville, Mandy Beaver of Lincolnton, Kelly Bull and Christell Pennington, both of Lincolnton; four brothers, Marshall Beaver and Eugene Beaver, both of Cliffside, Tommy Beaver of Lincolnton, and Larry Beaver of Gaffney, SC; three sisters, Margie Mayes of Kings Mountain, Elizabeth Bailey of Cliffside, and Ruth Williams of Kings Mountain; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and honorary brothers, Pat Johnson and Michael Clinton, both of Lincolnton.
