Obituaries

Mr. Robert Eugene Hight, age 44 of 653 S. Grove Street in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, January 10, 2012.

His funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, January 14, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chip Stowe officiating.  Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. 

Mr. Hight was born August 16, 1967 in Lincoln County to the late Martin and Brenda Hallman Hight. 

He is survived by two sons, Joshua Hight of Hickory and Wesley Hight of Newton; one daughter, Ashley Nicole Ellison of Portsmouth, VA; three brothers, John Hight, Russell Hight, and Marty Hight, all of Lincolnton; two sisters, Candice Blakely of Mooresville and Ada Peeler of Maiden; and three grandchildren, Laiya Hight, Arabelle Hight and Rileigh Hicks, all of Hickory.
