Barbara Joyce Alwran Hines, age 88, of Taylors, South Carolina and formerly of Lincolnton, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2025 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton with Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. The family will speak to friends following the service.
Mrs. Hines was born on June 30, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Otis Raymond and Callie Fox Alwran.
She is survived by her son, Robert Winfred Hines, Jr. (Margaret) of Spartanburg, SC; her two daughters, Laura Hines Lail (Ken) of Landrum, SC and Susan Hines Barr (Scott) of Taylors, SC; two grandsons, Robert Hines (Stephanie) of Charlotte and Thomas Hines of Gainsville, Florida; one granddaughter, Frances Joyce Barr of Taylors, SC; two step-children, Katie Lail Moore (Chris) and Christian Lail; and three step-great-grandchildren, Trystyn Moore, Janna Moore and Meagyn Moore.
