Suanne Jerrie Hicks, age 71, of Lincolnton, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025.
Suanne was born June 27, 1953, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to the late John Levi Hoyt, Sr. and Jean Smith Hoyt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Reece Hicks. She worked as a laborer in commercial and residential concrete.
She is survived by a son, Harry Sickler, IV (Mary) of Iron Station; daughter, Doris Davis (Scott) of Lincolnton; brothers, John Hoyt, Jr. and Joseph Hoyt (Pam) of Monroe Township, PA: sisters, Bonnie Binger (Michael) of Depew, NY, Cheryl Stambaugh (Joseph) of Tunkhannock, PA, Deborah Holden of Lincolnton, Kathi Derhammer (Richard), Andrea Delacati, and Pamela Weidman, all of Monroe Township; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
