Obituaries

Mr. Bobby Earl Cook, age 69 of 2640 Keener Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, January 9, 2012.

His funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 12, 2012 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Hager and Rev. J.V. Allen      officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Mr. Cook was born October 2, 1942 in Lincoln County to the late Ambrose and Vergie Mason Cook.   He worked at Claremont Building Supplies at Denver for twenty years.   

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Cook of the home; one son, Robert Cook of Lincolnton; one daughter, Tammie Cook Moore of Lincolnton; four brothers, J.C. Cook and Ervin Cook, both of Lincolnton, Jack Wilson of Newton, and William Wilson of Lincolnton; one sister, Shirley Wilson of Morganton; four grandchildren, Jimmy Sisk of Moncure, NC, Stephen Moore of Charlotte, Brandon Moore of Kernersville, and Carla Kirk of Lincolnton; and one great-grandchild, Samara Sisk of Moncure, NC.
